I was met at the counter by a sweet young lady and explained my idea. I loved my experience here!! I walked in a couple of weeks ago with an idea of what I wanted. I will definitely be coming back for the rest of my tattoos! Read Less The picture is from four days after getting it and I still absolutely love it. When he finished, he walked me through the after care process and then I was on my way. Overall, it wasn't that bad and Eric was very gentle. We talked for a little bit during and he was genuinely interest, not like he was trying to get me out of there as quick as possible or anything. He asked me that a couple more times throughout, which I really appreciated. About a minute into getting the tattoo, Eric stopped and made sure that I was okay and that the pain wasn't too bad. Otherwise, I would have absolutely loved to have all the finer details in there. I ended up going with the smaller one (which was still a great design only a little simpler) because I had other tattoos I want to get in that area. The bigger one had a little more detail in it which was nice. He had two different sizes ready for me since I still wasn't 100% sure. He added all of these little details that brought a lot more character into it. It was so much better than what I had envisioned in my mind. Eric showed me the design he came up with and I was blown away. This is the only downside about Rebel Muse, they're so popular it takes a bit to get scheduled but it's definitely worth it.When the day finally came, I walked into the shop and was greeted with the same cheerfulness and professionalism as last time. We set the appointment for his earliest opening in December. He was very patient and helped me decide on what style and size I would like. I told him I wanted wave crashing into mountains with a sun rising on the other side. I didn't really know what to expect but everyone I talked to was very patient and helpful despite me being pretty much clueless. I went in for a consultation with Eric Cantu in September for my first tattoo. I love Rebel Muse! I found them by just researching local shops and saw all the great reviews they got, and for good reason too!The customer service is outstanding. Arlington/Fort Worth shops want to slap a rose on it and call it a day. I'm due for a tattoo, I've been wanting a cover up. He will need all 5 redone now since they look like crap compared to Eddie's Masterpiece. and oh yeah, gotta get the kids from school. Two, I wasn't trying to sit there for no 6 hours. They close early though for a tattoo shop. One because his appointment was at 11 am. He says the plague doctors were the original bad asses. I was like what, why? Not that it was a surprise because he has some crazy, weird tattoos like an alien frog. At first when my husband told me he wanted plague doctors. Husband told Eddie what he wanted and Eddie was confident he could do it. Not sure if that's including Liz since she travels.Eddie and my husband seemed to get on well. I think he said there was 19 guys total at the shop. Husband wanted to go a week before his appointment to check out the place and meet Eddie. I believe he is new or somewhat new and moved here from NYC. He made an appointment with Eddie Molina. Everyone and their mama wants a tattoo from Liz Cook, but she has a 6 month+ waiting list. My husband has been wanting another tattoo for a few years now. Rebel Muse is the most cleanest and brightest tattoo shop I've been in. In my opinion Joe went above and beyond to make me comfortable and make my first experience both professional and fun!! I would recommend both Joe and Rebel Muse in the future to everyone looking to get ink!! Read Less After the work was done Joe gave me great verbal instructions to care for my tattoo but also sent me a follow up email with written instructions and answered all the questions I had both before and after the work was done. The process was completely painless and Joe kept me chatting so it was done before I knew it!! I think if I hadn't been chatting I would have drifted off to sleep. Joe, patiently took the transfer film off and on until I was completely happy with the placement of my tattoo. I was glad that Joe was honest and upfront about what would look best. I had script written out by my mom and Joe advised me that for it to look best he would make it a little larger which was fine with me. I got my first tattoo done on Tuesday by Joe Campos at Rebel Muse's new location at Preston and Campbell!! The place is so clean and bright I felt completely comfortable going there for my first ink. The atmosphere and just being in the natural state melted away all the stress of a previous long work week. This was one of the best weekends we have ever spent. People were amazingly friendly and everyone who worked for the resort went out of their way to make it a great time. While walking down to the clubhouse area a woman on a golf cart stopped and gave us a lift. The only downside was that it was quite nippy walking back to the campsite wet and nude! The next day was more of the same. We talked to even more friendly people and ended up staying there for a few hours. IPA! After dinner we went and enjoyed the "Conversation Pool" which is a giant hot tub. The waitress even trekked over to the "Streakers" bar to get me a delicious Dogfish Head 60min. We had a great meal of sandwiches and salads that was very tasty and satisfying. But here at Sunny Rest, it just meant that the specific "Dinner" items on the menu were not available. At other (traditional) resorts we have been to this would mean that, basically, you are just "out of luck" as far a food is concerned. We ended up set up but missed the timing for dinner in the restaurant. This was basically the theme for the entire weekend.VERY friendly, helpful people everywhere who are willing to go out of the way to help and make you feel welcome. When we moved the car and started setting up another couple folks came over, set their lantern up in a tree so that we would have better light to set up and helped us get set. Well, as we were wandering about, trying to figure out a spot a group of folks came over to us and pointed out a great site near them, with a picnic table and fire ring and a nearby place to park when setting up. I basically drove around lost for 20 min or so looking for the tenting areas, and we eventually just stopped the car near a bunch of tents to see if we could find a spot to put up camp. Frankly it was a bit confusing as it was starting to rain and it was after dark and there are no defined "campsites" for tent campers. Well, due to traffic and a late start we did not get there until around 8:00pm, at which point we were pleasantly checked in and given a resort map and a general idea where we could set up. I explained that we were coming after work on Friday and they said it was no issue, the office is open until 11:00pm. I called the resort and they confirmed that no reservation was required for tenting, that we should just show up. As we are avid campers, we decided to tent camp for the weekend. Last weekend we decided to make the short trip from the Philly area up to Sunny Rest to see how we would like it. My wife and I have been enjoying Au Natural sunning and swimming for a few years at Gunnison Beach and have been wanting to try a nude resort for some time. Why : Tendril was founded by award-winning chef Rishim Sachdeva and is a vegan restaurant with a twist. There are even vegan seasonal aperitifs to whet your whistle. Courses include elegant creations like crisp butternut tatin with cardamom, ras el hanout and green olive bun with preserved lemon, and English plum with pear ice. Guests can enjoy seven or ten-course plant-based tasting menus, which change with the seasons. Why: Alexis Gauthier, chef-patron of this French fine-dining spot, has made his restaurant one of the only vegan French restaurants in the country. The menu is driven by seasonal organic British produce and inspired by global flavours: think organic glazed tofu with an aubergine, red pepper and peanut sauce and maki ponzu with spiced mayonnaise. Why : Skip round to the back of Harrods and you’ll find virtuous restaurant Holy Carrot, where swish interiors and Instagrammable plates make vegan eating a glamorous affair. Everything you need to know about Veganuary.Where to go for a vegan afternoon tea in London. And so I guess if I was to distill it, it would just be getting to a real childlike quality sense of play. And she’s got a great bullshit detector, so she knows if something on the page or something that I’m doing or something in the scene just doesn’t feel right or real. So one of the things I tried to steal every day and then will try to steal on other projects moving forward is her ability to just pop right into the moment. What specifically did you learn from her? If I followed her lead and just listened to what she was doing, it often took me to the right place. It was all very much like that last scene. So that was the fun of it and the challenge of it. And then you’re in incredible fear of your life and kind of looking in the mirror and wondering what you’ve become. One minute you’re in a screwball comedy and the next minute your heart’s breaking because you’re kind of losing your sense of self or the love of your wife. I was often wondering how to do it, because it’s really a little bit of a tightrope to walk. It’s funny because the entire season, even up to that end moment, I was constantly turning to Kaley, who’s so facile in this genre and with this tone. What was it like finding the beats of this couple connecting in this extremely dark moment? In that final scene, Nathan and Ava are sweetly chatting while cleaning up the blood of their friend. With all eight episodes now bingeable, Messina chats below about why he wants to play Nathan again and how he figured out the series’ tricky tone. By the end of the series Nathan and Ava are in a much better place than when they started, but they are also, you know, accessories to murder. Instead of turning him into the police, Ava concocts a plan to revitalize her and Nathan’s marriage: They’ll turn Matt into content, getting him to share his side of the story with blood-thirsty listeners. His life gets a jolt of excitement when Ava, a true-crime obsessive, figures out that their plumber, Matt, just happens to be the Westside Ripper, who has been terrorizing Los Angeles. Nathan starts the series as a morose tennis pro, mourning his failed career. “I was happy to think, ‘Oh, maybe we get to do more and I could explore going even darker and further into the kind of vortex with Nathan,'” he tells The Hollywood Reporter. It’s a shocker of a cliffhanger from creator Craig Rosenberg, but one that excited Messina. 'The Traitors' Production Designer Took Inspiration From 'Clue' and 'Knives Out' |
